Houston Yoga Teacher: Kalpana Peck

I would like to share the benefits I have gained through my practice and I see Yoga as a life tool. It has allowed me to appreciate my strengths and at the same time view my weaknesses as stepping stones in the myriad of possibilities in my life’s journey. My focus is on combining yoga with breath. This connection not only integrates the body and mind, but also brings about a profound awareness of being in the moment.

I began my practice in 1993, and received my certification in 2001 at The Bihar School of Yoga in Bangalore, India. I have been teaching at Yoga Hmmm since 2002. Recently my dream of working with teenagers has become a reality and I am currently teaching Yoga for P.E. credit, at my daughter’s high school.
